August 20, 2006:  Located in Little Red Wing, Minnesota

Finally back on the road with a 67 mile ride from Minneapolis to Red Wing. We had 7 takers on our request for people to ride with us for all or a portion of the day and left from the St. Thomas parking lot.

Once again, John came through with a shorter, better route so we were able to enjoy the day a little more and get to Red Wing feeling pretty good. Thanks Eric, John, Camille, Dennis, Mike, Brenda, and the other two Road Kill(?) members who kept us so entertained all day!

After a short rest with Road Kill in Hastings, we wrapped up the weekend catching up with John, Rebeca, Conor, and Anna in Welch before riding the final 10 miles into Red Wing on the Cannon Valley Trail. Today went by so quickly and smoothly thanks to the company or our fellow riders. Thanks again to Steve K. who arranged for another fantastic night of lodging at the Nichols Inn.

We're getting spoiled and won't want to camp anymore!

Did You Know?  Some studies have shown as much as a five-fold increased risk in the development of intestinal cancer in people with IBD compared to the general population. Colonoscopies remain the best means for detecting early, curable cancer.
