August 24, 2006:  Located in Little Lowden, Iowa

65 miles from Dyersville to Lowden. Another scorcher (90 degrees) with high humidity and southern winds (again). Stopped at Field of Dreams for a few photos before they opened for business. Too bad we didn't have gloves to "have a catch" - that phrase still befuddles me.

Met a RAGBRAI rider in Cascade who had ridden and chatted with Lance Armstrong earlier this year. Apparently, Lance will be back for the full ride next year. I don't know how RAGBRAI manages to send so many riders over these hilly, rough roads without both riders and bikes breaking down constantly! Might have 2 newspaper interviews tomorrow!

Stopped by to see Laura's brother's family before and after dinner and will see them again tomorrow.  Otherwise, we'll have a full day of laundry, blogging, groceries, and visiting with Laura's family prior to pushing on to Illinois on Saturday.

Priuses = 0.

  Did You Know?  Some studies have shown as much as a five-fold increased risk in the development of intestinal cancer in people with IBD compared to the general population. Colonoscopies remain the best means for detecting early, curable cancer.
