September 7, 2006:  Rest Day in Buffalo, New York

Rest day in Buffalo. Got the bikes some new chains and a few other minor adjustments at the local bike shop while we visited the American side of Niagara Falls.

Kathy talked us into doing the Cave of the Winds' Hurricane Deck, which was a blast and we got pretty wet, though nowhere near as much as she did! Had a nice night with Kathy, Lar and a bunch of their friends and another CCFA board member, and Kathy's parents. They made a great dinner for all and we had fun sharing our story and getting to know everyone.

We've really enjoyed our stay here and can't possibly thank Kathy and Lar enough! We hope they'll visit us sometime in Mpls so we can repay the kindness.

Did You Know?  Some studies have shown as much as a five-fold increased risk in the development of intestinal cancer in people with IBD compared to the general population. Colonoscopies remain the best means for detecting early, curable cancer.
