My name is Joseph, I am twelve years old. I was
diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when I was nine years
old. I am a sports freak. I love to watch and play
almost every sport.
Sometimes, I get very tired and run down because of my Crohn’s, I had many tests
and tried lots of different medications, for now we have found the right
combination including Remicade (I go to the hospital every 4-6 weeks for
treatments). I have great doctors and need to get lots
of rest. I am able to do what I want most of the time, as long as I am not in a
flair.
This disease is very frustrating and embarrassing at times and I wish they would
come up with a cure so I could lead a regular life like most kids my age. Please
help anyway you can, so we can make sure other people don’t have to go through
what I have had to.
