My name is Zach and I am 11 years old. I have been
diagnosed with Crohn's disease for almost a year. We had
always wondered if I had Crohn's or something else
because I was a small guy-wearing the same clothes to
camp
3 years in a row!
Once I was diagnosed with Crohn's, I
started taking pills and nutritional supplements and I
have grown a lot since then. I've probably grown about 3
inches in one year!! At school I am just a regular kid
(ok, I'm a little weird). Having Crohn's doesn't really
hold me back from anything. In fact, I don't usually
have stomach aches or pains. My Crohn's only affected my
growth and the occasional quick trip to the bathroom. So
that's it about me. I hope this taught you a little
about Crohn's disease.
